Bill is a retired US Navy veteran with over twenty years of service and multiple combat deployments during his career. Having spent six years within the special operations community, he has had the unique perspective of preparing literally thousands of military and civilian personnel to improve their resilience in some of the most dangerous places on Earth.
As FCP’s Chief Innovation Officer, he leads the execution of First Care Provider’s growth through implementation of programs, strategies and technology that enhance and transform market wide educational delivery. He also enjoys reminding Josh of the US Navy's proud and storied 241 year history.
Josh Bobko, MD FAAEM
Chief Executive Officer
Josh is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy, and proudly served on active duty prior to entering medicine. He is Board Certified Emergency Physician and remains active operationally with several special mission teams. He is a national leader in emergency medicine and a popular speaker both nationally and internationally. He was recently recognized as one of the “10 Innovators in EMS” for 2015 for the First Care Provider concept.
As CEO, Josh leads the execution of FCP’s operations strategy, maximizes educational performance and champions First Care Provider’s communications and culture. He assures overall quality of content and high quality implementation across the First Care Provider community., and spends most of his time reminding Bill who's won the most Commander-In-Chief's trophies.
Chief Rob Wylie
Chief Strategic Officer
Chief Wylie joins the board after serving in the fire service for 30 years. As both a volunteer firefighter and career firefighter, Rob rose through the ranks to become the Fire Chief of the Cottleville FPD in St. Charles County, MO in 2005. He is a graduate of Lindenwood University (84’) The University of Maryland Staff and Command School (96’) and the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program (2000). He is a much sough-after lecturer and presents frequently on leadership principles, coordinating urban responses and counter terrorism. He is featured regularly on FireRescue1.com, and lives in St. Peters, MO with his wife of 30 years and their son.
As Chief Strategic Officer, he is responsible for leading and managing strategic initiatives and communicating First Care Provider’s value proposition globally. He has overall responsibility for defining, measuring and promoting our “best of breed” educational strategy.
Mike Weissman - FF, NREMT, Captain
Chief Development Officer
Mike Weissman joins the board bringing with him 27 years of tactical medicine and operational experience as a Navy Corpsman with Naval Special Operations and a Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman the Marine Corps. Mike served on multiple combat deployments and retired in 2016. He is currently a firefighter in the Las Vegas metro area and works as a Heavy Rescue Captain and Urban Search and Rescue team member. Mike is known throughout the special operations community as a premier mentor and educator, and uses these skills safety committees for his city and state.
As Chief Development Officer, Mike develops and leads strategic initiatives that transform resilience education delivery. He pursues strategic partnerships that diversify First Care Provider’s ability to reach into previously overlooked sectors of the civilian community.
Cyndie Chen, MSN, FNP-BC
Cyndie has had a 27 year career as an Trauma ICU nurse and advanced practice nurse and is currently working in Women’s Health and advocacy. She has extensive experience in education and has been empowering individuals with the skills for self-reliance and problem-solving throughout her career. When Cyndie is not saving animals, snowboarding in the back country or serving on medical missions abroad, she enjoys reminding the men of the board that ladies are the key to resilient communities.
Matt Coleman likes to help companies grow that are providing a service for the greater good. In his role as principal at Skyview Ventures, he leads the firm's renewable energy venture portfolio. Matt currently sits on the boards of three start-up companies and advises others. Matt has helped start five different companies and raised funds for others. Matt earned a MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and a BA from Johns Hopkins University, where he chose not to study medicine. He lives with his wife and two kids in Vienna, VA.
