Bill Harris, NREMT-P
Bill is a retired US Navy veteran with over twenty years of service and multiple combat deployments during his career. Having spent six years within the special operations community, he has had the unique perspective of preparing literally thousands of military and civilian personnel to improve their resilience in some of the most dangerous places on Earth. Wanting to bring those skills back to his community, Bill helped found First Care Provider with the goal of helping others save lives. He enjoys reminding Josh of the US Navy's proud and storied 241 year history.
Josh Bobko, MD
Josh is 1995 graduate of the US Air Force Academy, and served 5 years on active duty prior to entering medicine. He is Board Certified Emergency Physician and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Loma Linda University. Josh is a national leader in the development of medical responses to atypical disasters and has spent much of the last few years lecturing across the country and internationally. He was recently recognized as one of the “10 Innovators in EMS” for 2015 for the First Care Provider concept, and spends most of his time reminding Bill who's won the most Commander-In-Chief's trophies.
Chief Rob Wylie
Chief Wylie joins the board after serving in the fire service for 30 years. As both a volunteer firefighter and then as a career firefighter, Rob rose through the ranks to become the Fire Chief of the Cottleville FPD in St. Charles County, MO in 2005. He is a graduate of Lindenwood University (84’) The University of Maryland Staff and Command School (96’) and the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program (2000). He teaches regularly at the local, state and national level on leadership, counter terrorism and is featured regularly on FireRescue1.com. Rob lives in St. Peters, MO with his wife of 30 years and their son.
Mike Weissman - FF, NREMT, Captain
Mike Weissman joins the board bringing with him 27 years of tactical medicine experience that was gained as Navy Corpsmen serving with both Marine and Naval special operations units. Mike served ten years on active duty with multiple combat deployments and recently retired from the reserves. Mike is also a Firefighter in Henderson NV. Henderson Fire is one of the finest Fire–based EMS agencies in the nation and the only triple accredited fire department in the country. Currently Mike is a Heavy Rescue Captain and is also involved in the safety committee for the city.
R. Todd Baldridge, MPS, NREMT-P
Todd is a Firefighter/Paramedic in Southern California, with 30 years of experience in EMS. He is an Adjunct Faculty at Citrus College and teaches Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness. He is a graduate of Penn State Medical Schools Homeland Security in Public Health Preparedness program and received a Master’s in Professional Studies. He has lectured throughout the country on EMS and Emergency Preparedness topics. He also spends time reminding Josh that the Nittany Lions have been National Champions, twice.
Barry Frasier, NREMT-P
Barry recently retired from the Air Force after 23 years of service. He has been a licensed paramedic for 29 years, and spent much of his time in the service educating medical and non-medical personnel in the basics of pre-hospital trauma care. Barry remains active academically and stills sits on the Special Operations Command curriculum and examination board and the Tactical Emergency Casualty Care guidelines committee. He has a passion for teaching medical skills to anyone who will listen, and provides the critical second Air Force vote to Bill's Navy vote.
Cyndie Chen, MSN, FNP-BC
Cyndie has had a 27 year career as an Trauma ICU nurse and advanced practice nurse and is currently working in Women’s Health and advocacy. She has extensive experience in education and has been empowering individuals with the skills for self-reliance and problem-solving throughout her career. When Cyndie is not saving animals, snowboarding in the back country or serving on medical missions abroad, she enjoys reminding the men of the board that ladies are the key to resilient communities.
Matt Coleman likes to help companies grow that are providing a service for the greater good. In his role as principal at Skyview Ventures, he leads the firm's renewable energy venture portfolio. Matt currently sits on the boards of three start-up companies and advises others. Matt has helped start five different companies and raised funds for others. Matt earned a MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and a BA from Johns Hopkins University, where he chose not to study medicine. He lives with his wife and two kids in Vienna, VA.
